I received an email about this today from Allison and wanted to pass it on. This is the email that she forwarded me:
Get a red envelope (Now is the time to get one from a valentine card.). On the front, address it to:
President Barack Obama The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW Washington , D.C. 20500 On the back, write the following message.
"This envelope represents one child who died by abortion. It is empty because that life was denied the chance to offer anything to the world. Responsibility begins with conception".
On Thursday, the President said this at the National Prayer Breakfast: "There is no God who condones taking the life of an innocent human being." This would be very appropriate to add to the message.
I didn't know that President Obama said this and I pray that he is sincere in his words. Now is the time to stand up for what you believe in. Afterall, it's our responsiblity to be the voice for the voiceless.
Also, I have received an email from a kind woman named Margaret who said that she has extra envelelopes and will place one in the mail in your name. If you don't have a red envelope, please email me your info and I will pass it on to her.
I'm 23 years old and in my fifth year of college. I started out as an Environmental Biology major only to discover that it was not God's plan for me. I will graduate from the Nursing program in May with ADN and pursue my Bachelors over the next year. I'm so excited to jump right in and get a real taste of what life as a nurse will be like. I have a true passion for children and for helping others; my dream is to work in Pediatrics and specialize in Pediatric Oncology.
My boyfriend Matt and I have been together eight years and we have plans to tie the knot when I finally complete school. I thank God everyday that I've been blessed with my soulmate. I love to sew, and I especially love to quilt when I can find the time. Being an Aunt to my two nieces and my nephew is one of the most fulfilling roles of my life, I love all three of them to pieces!
